Missing: The Lucie Blackman Case
Fu Films joined the project during post-production to support the offline edit of two distinct regional versions of the feature documentary.
The Japanese edition centred on the perspectives of the investigating detectives and was primarily constructed through Japanese-language interviews.
For the UK and international release, the film required structural adaptation and a rebalanced narrative approach, incorporating a majority of English-language interviews and reframing the story for a Western audience while maintaining cultural sensitivity and factual integrity.

The process involved recalibrating perspective across two culturally distinct cuts of the same documentary while preserving continuity and thematic coherence.
